Name: Elias
RP Universe: None specifically; Egyptian Mythology is the closest.
Species/race: Sphinx, specifically Hieracosphinx (Head of bird, body of feline)
Physical description: White fur with gray spots on his belly and near his paws and above his talons. His black feathers extend down to his neck and blend into gray fur the becomes white along the rest of his body. Brown eyes. Very soft talons and paws from years talking in the sand.
Character description: Basically, Elias is a sphinx with nothing left to do in life. After cataloging every archaeological site around the places he guarded (as well as listed items and effects he found within while leaving them), he's pretty bored and lonely. The bird decided to go off and find something fun in life since all of the spots he was supposed to be guarding at covered by sand and have already been fully looted after "Uhmericuns" and "Buhritanes" came and took everything he was guarding. Since he failed and /didn't/ die in the line of duty, he's up for basically anything that doesn't involve his phobia-- Water.
Aspirations: Basically none, besides finding more ruins of ancient civilizations and cataloging the interior.
Backstory: So Elias was told by his boss, an Androsphinx who totally isn't important to his story, to guard seven tombs of kings. Instead of actually guarding them, Elias was more concerned about thieves looting by getting into the tombs without his knowledge and began to list dimensions of every room, traps and their ammunition and functionality, where applicable, and every article in sight within every room, including rodents and insects. He has an obsession with keeping things as orderly as possible without disrupting past work in any way. As a sphinx, he has many riddles at his disposal by which he tests the worth of others. The years of not defending tombs and instead cataloging left him in much worse physical shape than he was eons ago. He's exactly what you'd expect a bored ancient guardian to be: Quiet, observant, calm and hungry for knowledge.
