As ever, the one you know as Stormy or perhaps Stride or Elias/Alias or... I go by a lot of names, okay? Basically, I'm here to get in on this sweet role play action and make certain that none of you all do anything too cool without me around to at least see it.
Since this is multiverse and not specifically pony, I'm not going to be using my changeling or pony a lot of you (lol I mean none of you) are fond of. The character I will be using is a sphinx by the name of Elias. He's a character a friend of mine made a while back based on me and I sort of picked up. When she asked me what a sphinx could possibly do besides guard places with riddles, I said, "Why not archaeology?" So there you have it. An archaeologist sphinx who's seen some real stuff.
His name is Elias. Specifically, he's a hieracosphinx, meaning head of a falcon/hawk/burd and the body of a lion/feline. Basically, the idea was to have apex predators of sky and land. Though hieracosphinxes are imperfect and lack wings for whatever odd reason. I'll attach a picture of the guy if I can. Maybe. How do.
I think that did it. Anyway, he's a lot like what you'd expect an ancient guardian to be like. Bored, quiet, observant and hungry for new knowledge. Of course, he has a great deal of puns and riddles at his disposal and will often use them to test the worthiness of others. That being said, he hasn't been much of a defender since most of the locations he was meant to guard were buried in an ocean of sand grains... As a result, he's a terrible fighter and is better suited to his simple magic that suits very specific situations and not much else. He's slow to anger and even slower to violence, but he's very quick to protect what he loves, which is mostly food and sometimes friends. He's basically what you'd expect of an intelligent feline with a bird head in that he has gray and white fur with yellow beak and talons. The only difference his anatomy would have from the respective creatures is that the pads of his paws are very gentle and soft due to generations of walking along the sandy deserts near Egypt. He also has the ability to make bird calls as well as human speech, though his feline sounds are all but lost besides the ability to purr. Finally, Elias is terrified of water.
